How to build a 3D room with just the dimensions
First, we’ll start by using the Build Toolbar on the left- hand menu to create a room.
1. Creating Exterior Walls
On the left-hand side, click on the Build Toolbar and select Exterior Wall.
To start drawing your wall, single-click to begin the line.
Continue to single-click at each point to define the shape of your room.
To complete and close the shape (e.g., a square or rectangle), double-click at the final point.
2. Viewing Room Dimensions
To display the room’s dimensions, click on the Show Dimensions Tool located at the top toolbar.
This will display the length and width of the room you’ve just created.
3. Adjusting Room Dimensions
If you have specific dimensions for your room, you can use the Dimensions Tool to measure and adjust the walls to the exact size you need.
Simply click and drag to measure one side of the room, then repeat for the other sides as needed.
4. Dividing the Space
To divide your space into separate areas, select Interior Wall from the toolbar.
Draw your interior walls by clicking to begin, dragging to your desired length, and double-clicking to end the line.
Repeat the process to create additional divisions as needed.
Now, your room is fully laid out, with walls and divisions ready for further customization.
